Privacy policy
Meteor Rex is an endless runner game by TD Media. This page explains what the game stores, what it sends, to whom, and why. The short version: your progress stays on your device and the game has no accounts. Data leaves your phone only to show the advertising you choose to watch, to process purchases through Google Play and, if you use them, for Google Play Games leaderboards and achievements.

What the game stores on your device
- Your progress: best distance, amber, eggs and egg shards, the dinos, colours, accessories and trails you own, missions, achievements and the daily run.
- Your settings: sound, music, vibration, reduced motion, steering sensitivity and similar options.
- A record of the in-app purchases you made, so that your items are there right away when the game starts.
This data is kept in the game's private storage on your device. Android may include it in your Google account backup according to your device settings. Deleting the game removes all of it.
What leaves your device
- Advertising (only when you choose it). The game shows no banners and no forced ads. A video ad is played only when you tap a button to get a reward, for example a second chance or double amber. The ads come from Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically processes your IP address (which can be used to estimate your approximate location), your interactions with the game and the ads, diagnostic information, your advertising ID and an app set ID. Google uses this for delivering and measuring advertising and for fraud prevention; details are in Google's privacy policy. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for your choice before any advertisement is loaded. Personalised advertising is used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG); without it, Google shows non-personalised or limited ads based on our legitimate interest in financing the free game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time under Settings > Privacy & ads, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the Android settings. The Supporter Pack gives all ad rewards without watching ads.
- Purchases. In-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play (Google Ireland Limited). The game asks Google Play which items you have bought so that they can be restored; we receive neither your name nor your payment details. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Google Play Games (optional). If you use Google Play Games, your scores are sent to the game's leaderboards and unlocked achievements to your Play Games profile. Your Play Games name and avatar can be seen by other players on the leaderboards. This is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy and your Play Games settings. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Links. Tapping a link (for example to this page) opens it in your browser.
The game does not use analytics or crash-reporting services, has no accounts, does not access your contacts, location, camera or microphone, and does not sell data. The daily run course is calculated on your device from the date. If we add analytics in the future, this page will say so first.
Transfers outside the EU
Google may process data in the USA. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified, and otherwise on the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
Data on your device stays until you delete the game. E-mails to us are deleted once your request is settled, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Google keeps data according to its own policies.
Children
Meteor Rex is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw a consent at any time with effect for the future. Because we hold no account data about you, there is usually nothing on our side to export or delete; your data lives on your device and, if you use them, in your Google account backup and your Play Games profile, all under your control. To delete everything, delete the game and, if you wish, remove its data in your Google Play Games settings. To exercise a right, write to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen. We do not make automated decisions about you; if you consent to personalised ads, Google uses profiling to choose them.
