Delete your From Zero data
From Zero has no accounts. Almost everything the app knows about you is stored only on your phone, so you can delete most of it yourself, straight away.
1. Progress and settings on your phone
Your progress, quiz results, streak, settings and downloaded stories are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
- To delete your progress: open From Zero, go to Profile and tap Reset progress. Downloaded stories are removed under Profile > Downloads.
- To delete everything: uninstall the app. This removes all of its data and downloads from the device.
- If Android backup is switched on, your Google account may hold a copy. You can delete it in your device settings under Google > Backup, or in Google Drive under Backups.
2. Premium purchase records
If you bought Premium, RevenueCat, Inc. keeps a record of the purchase on our behalf: the purchase token and a random app user ID. To have it deleted, e-mail fromzerosupport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA. and is in the receipt Google Play sent you). We delete the record within 30 days and confirm by e-mail.
Deleting the record does not cancel a running subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Google Play keeps its own record of the payment for billing and tax purposes under Google's privacy policy; we cannot delete that record.
3. Advertising data (free version)
Advertising in the free version is delivered by Google AdMob, which processes data under Google's privacy policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in the Android settings (Privacy > Ads). In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you can change your consent at any time in the app under Profile > Ad privacy options.
4. E-mails to support
We delete support e-mails once your request is settled, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
We hold no other data about you. The full details are in the privacy policy.
